Accelerating Tech Transfers: Is Your Process Ready to Transfer?
Published on September 30, 2026

Tech transfer can look complete on paper and still encounter problems when the process reaches the receiving site. Critical process knowledge may be scattered across documents and systems. The rationale behind parameters and controls may not transfer with the recipe. Differences between sending and receiving units may be difficult to identify and assess, and unresolved risks or actions may surface only when scale-up or the manufacturing process is already underway.
This webinar explores how teams can evaluate when a process is truly ready for tech transfer—not simply whether the transfer package is complete. We will examine the process knowledge that should be established before transfer, including critical quality attributes (CQAs), critical process parameters (CPPs), scientific rationale, known failure modes and sensitivities, control strategy maturity, and monitoring expectations.
We will also explore how structured risk and gap assessments help teams identify meaningful differences, prioritize actions, establish ownership, and maintain alignment across R&D/CMC, MS&T, manufacturing, tech transfer teams, and external partners.
Finally, we will discuss how a connected digital lifecycle approach helps preserve process knowledge and decision rationale, maintain traceability between gaps, risks, and actions, and carry critical process understanding forward from development through transfer, scale-up, and continued process verification.
Register to learn how to identify tech transfer readiness gaps earlier and build a more connected approach that reduces avoidable rework, ambiguity, and risk as your process moves into manufacturing.
