Steve Franckhauser

Steven Franckhauser, JD, CIPP/US, CIPP/E and CIPM is Chief Legal Counsel and Data Protection for ValGenesis. Previously, he served as Co-Director of Cyber Security and Risk Advisory Services firm. Steve has been intimately involved in M&A transactions, corporate governance, contract creation, revision and negotiation, and commercial litigation. A national instructor on contractual, business, and privacy topics for continuing legal education forums. Steve is a past Adjunct Professor of Law at Duquesne University School of Law and Adjunct Professor at the Pennsylvania State University where he taught Information Privacy and Security. He has testified before multiple state legislative committees and served on various business governmental joint task forces. Steve earned his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law and his BA from The Ohio State University.
