Meet Sanjay
Sanjay Sharma, VP & Global Head of Technology Transfer (Formulations) at Lupin, is a proven pharmaceutical industry leader with more than 23 years of experience developing, launching and maintaining drug supply. His results-oriented approach and application of technically sound pharmaceutical manufacturing science have enabled some of the largest generic organizations deliver on critical revenue targets. He has identified opportunities applied data-driven decisions in validation and continuous process verification. He has been an invited speaker in several conferences in the Europe and in India on the topics of Product Development, Quality by Design, Product Lifecycle Management, PAT deployment and commercialization. Sanjay’s interests are in the areas of structured product development using QbD concepts, process design and process control using fit-for-use PAT capabilities. Sanjay worked in several Indian and MNC pharmaceutical firms namely Cipla, Dr Reddy’s Lab, Sandoz, Watson(Teva), Zydus & Torrent. Sanjay is currently heading the technology transfer and process development for Lupin Ltd. with end-to-end responsibility from new product introduction to commercialization.
