Senior Cloud Administrator

The Senior Cloud Admin maintains and manage the Azure cloud while ensuring smooth deployment of overall infrastructure inclusive of applications being loaded. This role will be based in our Mississauga Office or Tampa Office.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and manage the Azure cloud, ensuring smooth deployment of overall infrastructure
• Manage and ensure daily operations meet internal and external performance standards necessary to succeed in the market
• Create tools and processes, to be leveraged with team and ensure adherence to the created standards
• Help with other ad-hoc projects or assigned duties
• This role is based in office 5 days a week and will work various shifts to ensure we have 24/7 coverage (ie: Sunday – Thursday; 12am – 9pm EST)

The required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience you will bring to ValGenesis:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Information Technology or related area

• 7-10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure management

• High proficiency in written and verbal communication skills

• Strong collaboration skills and cross-functional skills

• Experience Designing and Administering Azure workloads

• Experience with Windows Administration

• Experience in IIS Configuration and administration

• Knowledge of Backup, Certificate, IDS/IPS

• Working knowledge and experience with Linux Administration

• Experience with Docker installation and administration

• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server Administration
